DVQ Fall 2023

Here it is, the tail end of summer. We had a pretty good one and hope you did as well. As far as ourselves go, we did some traveling to see old friends and family, mostly to the beating heart of America, the Great Midwest. Ohio and Wisconsin to be exact. It’s hard to go wrong reconnecting with family and friends, especially after a long period of absence from each other. Our big moment, however, came on the 17th of June when our son Devon graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). DVQ Spring 2023

I don’t know about you, but I am ready for this winter to be over. The older I get, the longer they seem to last. But just as night follows the day, spring will erupt in all its exuberant boisterousness, and soon. The signs are there. The irrepressible daffodils bravely rear their golden manes under the fir trees, the buzz of the hummingbirds make their triumphant return, and even to the un-trained eye it is readily apparent that the patio, after a winter of neglect, is in dire need of a pressure washing.
